Teens in La Crosse are taking a stand against graffiti in their community.
Thursday afternoon, about twenty-five teens from the boys and girls club of greater La Crosse walked down the Great River Trail to the Highway 16 overpass.
That's where they grabbed paint rollers and covered up graffiti in the area.
Interim Chief of police Robert Abraham helped out the kids and says that this activity is meant to give the kids a sense of community.
"It gives them pride, and also maybe helps them pass it along if they see other kids doing this kind of thing that it's not the right thing to do," said Abraham.
This event is part of the Boys and Girls Club's Play Program.
