A major road in Eau Claire is being torn up for major renovations.
The city says construction on Golf Road started Monday, from Highway 93 to Commerce Valley Road. Crews are removing the street, curb and gutter, sidewalks and driveway approaches.
The city says the road will remain open during the work with lane closures.
The construction is scheduled to be finished September 21st.
