
The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has been named one of the best public regional universities in the Midwest.
The 2013 edition of 'America's Best Colleges' posted in U.S. News and World Report Magazine ranks UW-L at #4. For overall private and public schools, it was ranked at #24.
UW-Eau Claire was ranked #5 among best public schools and #31 for overall private and public schools.
UW-Stout came at #16 for best public school in the Midwest.
The regional rankings include 625 schools in four geographic areas (North, South, Midwest and West). The rankings reflect how schools compare within their regions on a set of indicators, including peer assessment, graduation and freshman retention rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and alumni giving.
