
The DNR has suspended burning permits in 29 counties in the state because of very dry conditions, and most of those counties are in western Wisconsin.
The DNR is asking everyone to avoid having campfires and burning trash.
The agency says you also need to be careful about possible sparks from ATVs.
It says fire control teams are on high alert as the fire danger in most parts of the state is high or very high.
