Family Grieving Loss of Another Student - FOX 25/48 - WLAX/WEUX La Crosse & Eau Claire News

Another family is grieving after a second college student died from injuries he got in a house fire in Eau Claire.

The family of 22-year old Jacob Clarkson says he died today.

The Eau Claire Police Department says he's one of four students from Stillwater, Minnesota who were in an apartment on Water Street Monday morning when a fire broke out.

Another student, 21-year old Ross Livermore also died in the fire.

Livermore was a sophomore at UW-Eau Claire.

Two other students were treated and released from the hospital.

Firefighters are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.
