Bon Iver and Gordy Bischoff Team Up for Confluence Project - FOX 25/48 - WLAX/WEUX La Crosse & Eau Claire News

The Confluence Project in Eau Claire is getting a special donation through Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and a local guitar-maker.

Vernon has teamed up with his friend and longtime Eau Claire guitar-maker Gordy Bischoff to develop what's called the "1608". It's a baritone guitar made with original white oak wood from Bushmills Irish Whisky barrels.

The guitar is being auctioned off on eBay through November 2nd.

The proceeds will benefit the Confluence Community Arts Center downtown.
