Little kids won't be the only ones out on Halloween night.
Police officers will also be on the streets, checking on registered sex offenders.
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections will again team up with local law enforcement agencies across the state this Halloween to monitor sex offenders and keep kids safe.
During trick or treating hours, officers will do random home visits of high risk sex offenders.
Officers say kids should be with an adult and should be taught not to go inside homes without a guardian.
